To identify epidemiological and health trends of Kingston and Port-au-Prince for nutrition, NCDs and health inequalities.

Our feasibility research focused on identifying, pooling and harmonising existing population health surveys in the region, and scope for appropriate routine data available. We also aimed to focus on understanding health inequalities as they relate to urban populations, deprivation and gender.

We are currently carrying out this work with funding from the GCRF Facilitator Grant from the University of Exeter. Epidemiological data will be related to demographic data where possible. We aim to identify, map and visualise data gaps in the region.
